The Data Quality Management team (DQM) is at the core of KBC’s data-driven strategy. As a functional analyst in this team, you contribute to producing superior internal and external reports for recipients such as national and international supervisors. Data quality is one of the most fascinating domains in the financial sector. Expect some interesting challenges!

You join a healthy mix of business and IT colleagues who collaborate following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Thanks to short communication lines, everything moves forward smoothly and we deliver maximum added value.

Your focus? The functional analysis of maintenance and changes to the systems with which we calculate credit risks and generate depreciation reports .

What do we expect from you? You translate business requirements into a detailed functional design. You identify various possible solutions and evaluate feasibility in the areas of scope, budget, time to market and the ability to execute within our IT application landscape. You support your technical colleagues during the technical design stages and the implementation. You make sure of high-quality delivery by using a test plan of your own. You maintain good working relationships with business stakeholders throughout the entire trajectory. When necessary, you challenge them on issues such as budget limitations, timing or scope. Your profile

You have several years of experience in IT, preferably as a functional analyst, system architect, business analyst or an equivalent function in a financial environment. Thanks to your economic or mathematical background you quickly familiarise yourself with the business and IT processes of the Credit Risk Domain. Analysis and conceptual thinking are your strengths. These skills help you to build up expertise and make carefully weighted decisions in line with our strategies. Delivering high-quality work together with your colleagues leaves you feeling energised. We greatly value teamwork . How about you? Experience in a mainframe environment or knowledge of credit-risk standards (PD, EAD, LGD, ECL, RWA) and processes? Defini a plus point, but it’s not a must.
